US Frees 42 Al Queda Prisoners in Iraq.

Finally we did *something* right in Iraq.

Assuming this isn’t a lie (like Pat Tillman), this is probably one of the only good things that has happened since the Iraq war began:

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) — U.S. forces have freed 42 Iraqi citizens who were kidnapped, held by al Qaeda in Iraq for as long as four months and possibly tortured, a U.S. military spokesman said Sunday.

U.S. forces received a tip on where the hostages were held, said Lt. Col. Christopher Garver.

“There was some evidence of torture,” he said.

Garver said he believed the kidnappings were part of al Qaeda’s “fear and intimidation” campaign against Iraqi civilians.

It’s a shame we can’t take the high road on torture.

Why does the Bush administration hate freedom?

Just show peaceful Muslims like torture they have used torture to create Islam and continue today. Muslims love killing both other Muslims and non-Muslims. They pray to Allah that they can blow babies to pieces all over the world.
