Is Karl Rove Gay?

It looks like Ted Haggard is officially out of the closet and is in fact gay. He refers to it as a “sexual problem” which is a bit pathetic.

People like Folley and Haggard are the worst kind of scum.

Less than 24 hours after being fired from the mega-church he founded, evangelical Pastor Ted Haggard confessed to a “lifelong” sexual problem.

In a letter read to members of his New Life Church Sunday, Haggard said he is “a deceiver and a liar.” Haggard apologized to his congregation in the letter and asked for their forgiveness.

Remember the whole Jeff Gannon controversy?

James Dale Guckert worked under the pseudonym Jeff Gannon as a White House reporter between 2003 and 2005, representing Talon News. After Guckert came under public scrutiny, in particular for his lack of a significant journalistic background and involvement with various homosexual escort service websites using the professional name Bulldog, he resigned from Talon News on February 8, 2005. Continuing to use the name Gannon, he has since created his own official homepage and worked for a time as a columnist for the Washington Blade newspaper, where he came out as a homosexual.

We’ve never figured out who hired Gannon. You don’t just get into the whitehouse as being a former gay escort without some sort of stamp of approval.

A rumor has been circulating for a few years that Karl Rove is in fact gay.

In “The Architect: Karl Rove and the Master Plan for Absolute Power” writers James Moore and Wayne Slater reveal that Rove has told insiders he does not consider himself “a Christian”, had a father who was gay, and regularly dealt with openly gay Republicans as he worked publicly to have a constitutional amendment passed that would ban same-sex marriage.

Rove’s father, Louis, left the family and moved to California where he came out. Louis Rove died in Palm Springs as “his son was in the midst of launching the antigay issues campaign that was to lead to the re-election of George W. Bush.”

I don’t care that Karl Rove is gay (I live in San Francisco after all) – I care that they’re using the hatred and homohobia of many Americans simply to drive their agenda and put money in their pocket.
