Population Density Visualization and Politics

Thanks to Data Mining I found this great visualization of population density:

Notice the main spikes? Those are blue states baby! Most major cities are democratic actually. My theory is that the smarter people move to the cities so they can get better jobs and make more money.

    Also ’cause cities have more of the blue-state cultural amenities (theaters, alternative book stores, seedy bath houses, etc.)

  2. Maybe it’s just FF1.5 … or mebbe just I’m just a MIL-SPEC pain in the butt, but that map is buggey: if you mouseover the WA/OR border SE of Seattle the Wyoming baloon pops up.

    Not ready for prime time!
