Leaked OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Features?

Go PowerPage! Another pending lawsuit? Anyway… they have an unconfirmed but leaked feature set of 10.5.

In advance of Monday’s keynote address by Steve Jobs at WWDC The PowerPage has received a alleged copy of the features (and some screenies) from Apple’s next generation operating system – Mac OS 10.5 (“Leopard”). The details are unconfirmed and are being posted for informational purposes only.

This feature will rock my world:

A safari Exposé is available, allowing Web pages in tabs to be treated as separate windows for the time of the Exposé

I’ll switch from Firefox and this will be the sole reason which motivates me to install 10.5 (instead of waiting for 10.5.1).

It will also probably force me to be stuck on OS X/Safari for a long time because you just know it will take both Linux and Firefox another two years to emulate this feature.

  1. “…allowing Web pages in tabs to be treated as separate windows for the time of the Exposé.”

So… for those of us who are not Mac-heads, what does that mean?

  2. No need to wait for Safari 3. Shiira already does it.
